Our
Services
Calvary Baptist Church Santa Monica is your church home for love, encouragement, and spiritual growth. As Ephesians 4:3 instructs, we “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” It is our honor to offer specialized services for deceased Calvary members and members of the community. All services are based upon the coordinated availability of the church facilities, support personnel, the clergy, and Pastoral approval.
One Love, One Faith, One Family, One Calvary!
Funerals & Memorial Services
We are honored to host your family and friends as you memorialize and celebrate the life of your loved one who has transitioned from earthly life. We simply ask that all in attendance honor and respect the house of the Lord, follow all established rules and guidelines, and do all possible to contribute to a peaceful celebration. This includes but is not limited to music, as our expectation is that all selected music is honorable and appropriate before God. In turn, we will do our very best to provide a safe, clean facility while also offering fervent prayer, loving care, empathy, kindness, and support during your time of grief.
Please note that for the safety of all involved, we will not conduct services on our premises that may give rise to violence or criminal activity. This includes but is not limited to the support or allegiance to any known gang colors, signs, and affiliations. While we do not require all guests to be believers, we are a Christian, Bible-believing church and all services and events at Calvary will expressly reflect a Christian foundation, Biblical principles, and honorable deportment.
Calvary follows all CDC, federal, state, and local COVID-19 regulations relative to houses of worship. As such, the number of guests allowed, food options and other limitations may be imposed in accordance with the COVID-19 protocols in place at the time of your service. Currently, masks must be worn at all times while on all Calvary premises.
